THE COMPANY
During the course of the last 30 years, COLMEC has achieved a leading position within the European market for the manufacture of extrusion lines for rubber compounds. The never ending search for new technology, the attention given to the specific requirements of the customer, innovative proposals and strict control of our own production processes are just some of the main points on which we at COLMEC have built our reputation and image. PREMISES
We now operate from our new, modern and functional facility that occupies 40,000 square meters, 12,000 of which are covered. Our premises accomodate the commercial and administrative departments together with the technical and production departments. Production being sub divided into; carpentry, assembly, stores and painting. LABORATORY
The laboratory occupies a dedicated area of 2,000 square meters inside Colmec. This is equipped with extruders, screws and interchangeable extrusion liners, together with a series of accessories including: gear pumps, vulcanisation ovens, conical-twin extruders and silicone mixers. In addition to it's experimental role, the laboratory is also available to those customers who would like to simulate with complete extrusion lines, production tests. PLANNING
The technical department uses the most evolved CAD/CAM planning methods. No detail is neglected, with the results achieved being due to the professionalism of the whole technical staff. MANUFACTURING
COLMEC has consistently invested in new machinery and equipment. Integrated together with computer support and control systems, which, managed by highly qualified staff guarantees the precision and the quality of our production process. All the mechanical components of greatest importance are manufactured in the Colmec workshop, including extrusion screws, i.e. the "heart" of the extruders and as a result of extensive studies concerning externally manufactured parts, the support of specialised external suppliers is guaranteed. All of the manufactured pieces are readily available as spares. An essential characteristic of the company in order to guarantee our commitment to our customers. BEFORE AND AFTER SALES
From the first moment of contact, the customer has the feeling of being in the right place. Colmec's Sales department is always available to give a valid and considered reply to every request. Customer assistance is a priority business function and is the logic behind why Colmec has the availability of a complete and well organized stores department. A team of highly qualified technicians is available for immediate requests regarding support.
