Rubber extrusion is the core specialization of Colmec S.p.A.; the production of the company includes a wide range of extruders often fitted to gear pumps that increase or improve performance.
The company supplies complete lines for the production of profiles for building and automotive fields, high and low pressure industrial hoses, fuel hoses, radiator and TCI (Turbo Charger Intercooler) hoses, air conditioning, power steering and brake hoses, roll covering equipment and pre-formers for compression moulding.
Special mention is to be given to the silicone processing equipment for which COLMEC has developed a dedicated equipment line which includes, beside the traditional extrusion and curing lines, an innovative twin screws mixer very well appreciated by the market.
In order to satisfy customer technological requests which become more demanding, COLMEC offers compound straining systems, for productions up to 5.000 kg/h, both with cold off line process or hot in line one and with the possibility to make strips or pellets.
